The Kennel
An old man's face on a very heavy dog, sitting in the same spot it sat in last year, and the year before that.
The Kennel is not a fund. It is a porch. Ruffett came up onto it at some point nobody can date, lay down facing the drive, and has been described ever since as positioned. He has never chased a car. He has watched a great many dogs chase cars and he has watched all of them come back without one.
He is not slow because he is old. He is slow because moving is how you drop things.
Founded
On a porch, in a chair-shaped dent that is now considered part of the structure.
Staff
One dog. It does not delegate, because delegating requires standing up.
The Slow Walk
The whole strategy, such as it is, performed at a pace that makes people uncomfortable.
Step one
Consider standing up. This stage has historically taken between four minutes and one full season.
Step two
Stand up. Wait for the room to stop commenting on the fact that he stood up.
Step three
Walk to the thing. Do not run. Running is how the fast dogs arrive first at the wrong thing.
Step four
Sit back down, holding it. This is the entire edge and it has never been patented.
The Bone
One bone. Acquired long ago. Never once put down, not even to eat.
People keep offering him other bones. Newer bones. Bones with better technology in them. He looks at the new bone for a while, with his whole head, and then he does not take it, and the person goes away and comes back in a year and it has become clear that not taking it was the entire point.
Twice a decade the bone is described in the press as finished. The bone is not finished. The bone is in his mouth. That is the position.
Holding period
Ongoing. There is no exit plan because there is no plan that involves opening the jaw.
Diversification
He has heard the argument. He has one mouth. The argument stops there.
The Annual Letter
Written once a year, in plain language, by a dog who has not moved.
Length
Long. Deliberately. If you will not read it, you were never going to hold the bone either.
Tone
Folksy. Underneath the folksiness, an instruction. The folksiness is load-bearing.
Contents
Mostly the same as last year, which is presented, correctly, as the good news.
Forecasts
None. He has never given one and this page will not start giving them on his behalf.
The archive
The first kennel letter is filed separately for patient readers. Open the annual-letter archive.
Notice & Status
The one page of the kennel that is written like a filing: what exists, what does not, and how to tell the real thing from a copy.
$RUFFETT has not launched. There is no contract address, no pool and no market, so every line above reads unavailable: nothing has been measured, and no figure is still loading. A $RUFFETT contract address shown to you anywhere today did not come from us. When the token exists, its address is published on this page first, and the buttons above go live at the same moment.
The character. Warren Ruffett is an original cartoon dog, drawn in the editorial tradition of caricature. This project is independent and is not affiliated with any real person or company; nothing here is a statement by or about a real individual. Risk. Digital tokens can lose all of their value. Nothing on this site is investment advice, and the long game is a fictional simulation, not a forecast.
The Pack
A pack for people who read the whole letter.
The pack is the audience the kennel is written for: holders in the old sense of the word, people who prefer the same good thing for ten years to a new thing every ten days. Members are recognised by what they do not do — chase, panic, or put the bone down.
The house style is plain language and long memory. Official news is published on this page first; when the account opens, the button above stops being a hatched grey chip and starts being a link.
What exists
The brand, the annual letter, the long game and this page.

Take the long view
Try the long game while the pack forms: eight fictional years, four fictional companies, one crash, a four-round portfolio season scored on process alone, and a dog who knows the best trade is sometimes no trade. Play The Long Game.
